You saw the designs in an earlier post. Now you have the evidence that the Kinders put their designs into action. After our study of the letter and sound of O, the Kinders made odd animal sock puppets. We were honored and cheered on by our peers and Big Pals through out the school, as well as community members who came to our parade. Some even stayed to have lunch with us. Having an event in which the youngest learners at Danville School are the ones being honored is so very heart warming.

Question: How can you make this sock into an odd animal?
Step 1: Research Step 2: Design, make a plan Watch for a further post about engineering! The Danville School encourages partnerships and positive relationships among all of our students. Our Kinders are the Little Pals and the 7th graders are the Big Pals. Today was our fist meeting. The Big Pals brought a variety of favorite story books to read aloud to the Kinders and then they worked together to make positive posters of encouragement for the pep rally. We are soooooo excited to have Big Pals!
After the rain... chalk mixes with water in a puddle. The result is gorgeous! This little gem of a discovery attracted about 10 Kinders during recess.
Kinders worked hard at making the roads of Danville. A road to the school, to Marty's, Joe's Pond, our houses, etc. So much fun!
