Good sports: Mr. Rector, Ms. Hoffman and Mr. Schilling all willingly participated! Students really enjoyed watching these good sports participate in a really gross event.
As we mirror the Superkids, we had an event "The Big Box Fix Up". Playing the role of an engineer, Kinders designed and created anything they wanted to from a box. Projects are on display in the front lobby for a few days. Come check them out.
A graduating senior at Danville School must complete a service learning project. Today we visited with Chelsea and her horse Zodiac. Chelsea shared her senior service learning project with us and we got a little horse love!
We can write to give information, tell a story, or share an opinion. Opinions are what a person thinks or feels about something. Kinders have many opinions, especially about books. Here are their book reviews!
Sometimes, a Kinder can be inspired to write from reading a text. This Kinder read an online book about how to make salsa. She was inspired by the recipe that she decided to write the recipe down to make salsa at home.
Kinders shared their All About Books with each other. They were taught how to peer edit: tell your partner a star: something you liked or noticed they did really well in their writing, tell your partner a wish: something you wish they would change to make their writing better.
