Highlights from this month:
Crazy hair winners from each classroom were recognized and received a crazy hair pen. Amelia was the winner from our classroom. Way to be crazy Amelia! Sonja from the front office is moving on to a new job after being at the Danville School for over 20 years. Sonja was recognized and shown appreciation from the Elementary School. Thanks Sonja!

To better track the print in a book and still be able to manipulate turning pages and holding a book, we now have finger flashlights to use on Flashlight Friday.
As we transition to digging deeper into studying sight words, so has our Word Work center of Daily 5. Here you see Kinders using Wikki sticks, write and wipe, stamp and trace, and rainbow writing.

Garden: a fertile and delightful spot or region Here is the place in our classroom that is fertile with supplies and delightful to get inspired to be a writer. Actually many children like to use this space for other learning like, reading, math, exploration. Currently, the setting is a winter garden, but I do change it out for the seasons. |
